OUR SERVICES
Regular dental prophylaxis (prophy) or cleaning is necessary to achieve and maintain a healthy mouth. During your cleaning, we will remove any tartar/plaque from your tooth’s surface and above and below your gum line. Once the cleaning is finished, we will polish your teeth and make any recommendations on how to improve your at-home oral hygiene habits.
Cleanings (Prophylaxis)
One of the leading causes of tooth loss in adults is periodontal (gum) disease. This disease is virtually pain-free, which means signs go unnoticed, causing irreversible damage. Our soft-tissue management program is customized to each patient’s individual needs and is designed to treat gum disease before it becomes a severe problem.

Therapy
Cone beam technology is a diagnostic tool which allows us to create a 3D image of your teeth, tissues, and jaw bone. This image provides us with a comprehensive view of your mouth. It allows us to examine your jaw from every angle and uncover any potential health problems. This technology helps us create better treatment plans for our patients.
Cone Beam Technology (CT Scan)
Fluoride is naturally present in varying amounts in almost all food and water supplies. It is a great agent used to help prevent tooth decay. We gain fluoride in two ways: topically (toothpaste, mouth rinses, gels) and systemically (in our food and water supply). Both types help to strengthen the teeth and protect against bacteria or decay. Fluoride is safe and effective for patients of all ages. Our team will work with you to determine which fluoride treatment best suits your needs.
Fluoride
Treatment
X-rays have long played an important role in diagnosing and treating a range of dental issues and irregularities. This technology provides us with an effective way to identify potential problems in a patient’s mouth and jaw. By using digital radiography, we can enhance our level of care. Digital x-rays do not produce as much radiation as conventional x-rays, so patient exposure is greatly reduced. A digital x-rays system also produces higher quality images, which can then be sent electronically to outside specialists for review.
Digital
Radiographs
An intraoral camera is a small camera which provides us clear, precise images of your teeth, mouth, and gums. The images produced help us to make a more accurate diagnosis. It allows us to view details that may otherwise have been missed by standard mirror examinations. We utilize the Planmeca® PlanScan™ scanner in our practice. This intraoral scanner uses CAD/CAM technology and blue laser technology to produce more detailed images of the teeth.
